Burdock Root (Arctium lappa) - $20kg

Used as a digestive aid as it stimulates the digestive juices. It is ideal for any blood disorders, liver, & kidney function or toxic conditions which result in skin conditions. Burdock can be of assistace with  dry scurfy skin, sores and other skin breakouts ,it has also  been found to have anti-tumour activity

 


Calendula (Calendula officinalis) - $22kg

One of the best known antiseptic healing herbs, it can be used externally for treating any kind of cuts and wounds. It can be used  as a wash / spray or in cream form. It will help restore damaged tissue, aids in preventing scarring and nerve damage. As part of a herbal mix, Calendula can be used for bathing sore & swollen eyes and as part of a skin wash for skin conditions.


Celery Seed (Apium graveolens) - $10kg

High in sodium, chlorine and silica. It can be extremey useful when used in a treatment for degenerative joint problems an as an alkliser to reduce excess acidity in the tissues. It can improve fluid circulation by encouraging horses to drink more. Very good tonic herb.


Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) - $20KG

A herb that can be used as part of a natural diet as it has many benefits. It is an excellent nervine  and can be used in all cases of tension, restleness and stress. It has a wonderful calming effect on nervous horses particularly if they are prone to loose manure due to nervous tension. Chamomile has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions therefore it can be of assistance for  arthritic conditions. It can improve digestion and can help in mild cases of colic. It is great for bathing swollen and inflammed eyes. It contains Calcium, Magnesium & Potassium.


Chastetree Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) - $23

A herb that is commonly used to treat PMT and menopause in women, it can be of assistance for mares that become tense and irritable when in season. It can also be used in combination when dealing with hormonal imbalances and breeding problems. It is recommended that veterinary advice be sought for such problems to diagnose  possible causes.


Clivers (Galium aparine)- $26kg

An excellent herb for supporting and toning the lymphatic system, it is specific for urinary infections such as cystitis. It is rich in silica which will strengthen the coat and hair. It is used for any soft swellings, fluid retention, windgalls & filled legs.
