Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) - $22kg

Highest plant source of Vitamin B12 and is very high in mucilage, making it beneficial in healing gut ulcers. Comfrey has an extraordinary ability to heal bone, cartlidge, tendons, soft tissue & wounds therefore it is an herb that is invaluable especially when treating many different conditions associated with horses


Dandelion Root (Taxaxacum officinale) - $26kg

Dandelion is specific for any condition affecting the liver and/ or the kidney's. Dandelion root stimulates the liver to increase bile production while the leaves are a very powerful diuretic. Dandelion is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium making it a great natural electrolyte. and should be considered for horses in hrad work ie racehorses, endurance horses. It is also high in Vitamins A, B, C, & D. It contains more Vit A than carrots.


Devils Claw (Harpogophytum procumbens) - $30kg

Is used for it's analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, it can also stimulate healing. It can be of great assistance where there is pain or inflammation particularly in degenerative joint disorders.DO NOT USE IN PREGNANCY OR IF GASTRIC ULCERS ARE SUSPECTED.


Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia, E. purpurea) - $21kg

Is an excellent immune system strengthener, very good for chronic viral and bacterial infections. Can be extremely effective for those suffering post-viral symdrome. Echinacea is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulant as it stimulates the white blood cells to fight off infection.


Elecampane (Inula helenium) - $25kg

A very effective herb for treating all respiratory infections, coughs, colds and allergies. Elecampane is extemely useful for healing damaged lungs and expelling mucus.


Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) - $8

A legume that has been used since the ancient Greeks fed it as conditioning hay. Today it is mainly the seeds that are used. Fenugreek is one of the main ingredients in curry powder and is almost identical in chemical composition to cod live roil (but more palatable) it is a very nutritious food that will tempt the fussiest of eaters and is recommended as part of a natural diet. Fenugreek is specific for the lymphatic system, it helps in preventing infections, aids in gastric disorders, ulceration, high cholesterol and poor milk production. It contains Vitamins A, B, C, D and the fertility Vitamin E, it is also rich in Calcium and high in oestrogen. DO NOT USE IN PREGNANCY.
